Mosque can play pivotal role in changing the society. WAMY Bangladesh construct mosque all over the country. More than 100 mosque all ready constructed.
But in Bangladesh Mosques are not treated as centers of all activities of Muslims for many reasons.But to cultivate the muslim minds, to engage the common people in socio-economic development activities, there is a need for common place which will include a mosque, a common hall room, a library, a charitable health center and such other facilities. All of these facilities together at a place will form an islamic center.
WAMY gives importance on developing such islamic centers in each large locality, specially at district headquaters and upazilla centers. Already WAMY construct two islamic center in two different area of Bangladesh.
Construction department of WAMY has also taken some programs to ensure pure drinking water for poor and helpless people.We used to install deep, shallow and normal tubewells in needy area. |
